Introducing EXCEL, Your Vought Aircraft Benefits Program!

(This communication is for Vought Aircraft employees covered by a collective bargaining agreement.)

Welcome to Excel, your Vought Aircraft benefits program. The name was chosen because it stands for excellence - excellence in your benefits program, and excellence in benefit services. Vought provides you with certain basic benefits at no cost to you, along with a selection of optional benefits from which you can choose to meet your personal and your family's needs. You contribute for these benefits through weekly payroll deductions.

While you share in the cost of your comprehensive benefits program, the company pays the major portion of the cost (Your optional life insurance premiums mat bebased on pay and/or age, and those rates will change as your pay increases and as you reach the next ratings age bracket.)

If You Need to Make Changes...

If you need to make changes in your benefit elections, you must do so during Annual Enrollment, held each spring. After enrollment closes, you can make changes in your elections only if you have a qualifying change in life status, such as marriage, divorce, birth or adoption of a child, and then only to adjust your coverage appropriately to the change in life status. You can, however, stop coverage of a dependent at any time. If you are dropping a dependent because of divorce, you must provide a copy of the final court judgment.

If you are enrolled for Flexible Spending Accounts - dependent care and/or health care - your contributions will continue from year to year unless you change the amounts during Annual Enrollment. You can stop your contributions if you have a qualifying change in status.
